SAP Business One feeds growth at KK Animal Nutrition.

KK Animal Nutrition specialises in mineral nutrition and supplies high quality calcium phosphate, mineral supplements and feed additives for cattle, pigs and other livestock.

The implementation of SAP Business One at KK Animal Nutrition in January 2006 was unique in that it was a downgrade of systems from SAP R/3, following its disposal by AECI.  KKAN conducted an evaluation of alternative ERP systems, and SAP Business One was selected on the basis of fit, SAP’s reputation and KKAN’s prior experience of reliability, integrity and support relating to SAP R/3.

“Thanks to some very unique features such as drag and relate, formatted searches, user defined fields and transaction notification we were able, with the help of Bluekey, to customise the system to meet the requirements of users at KK Animal Nutrition who were used to running on a much more complex system” says Gilda dos Ramos, Project Lead at KKAN.

“We also purchased the VIP Integration module which allows us to import the payroll data from VIP into SAP Business One instead of capturing lengthy journals. This has saved us quite a significant amount of time at month end.”
